How the calculator works
VSA uses Malaysia's standard flat interest rate formula. Enter four numbers and you get the monthly installment instantly — no pen, no calculator app, no spreadsheet.
The formula
Monthly Installment =
(Principal × Rate × Tenure / 12) + Principal

Tenure × 12 (months)Where:
- Principal = Car price − rebate − down payment
- Rate = annual interest rate (e.g. 0.0265 = 2.65%)
- Tenure = years (typically 5 to 9)
The exact same formula your bank uses. Numbers will match what your client gets quoted at the showroom.
Inputs you can change
- Car model — pick from the live Perodua list
- Down payment — RM amount (or 10% default)
- Loan tenure — 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 years
- Interest rate — defaults to current Perodua rate
- Rebate — auto-filled from car list, editable
